First of all, thanks for providing a great site. There's tons of useful info here and a real sense of enthusiasm for all thinks organ!
Mine is a long an turbulent relationship with this instrument. I learned to play on all kinds of organs and played in a band with my old farfisa from the age of 15. Then, as a teenager, my head was turned by the new fangled synthesiser and I abandoned my farf. to the garage of obsolescence.
What a fool I was! SInce then I have seen the error of my ways and currently play an old farfisa again plus a Korg poly ensemble and a vermona organ/string keyboard.
Anyway. Now I have bought an Elka x 605 from a flea market that isn't working. I have got the schematics for it and have some electronics knowledge but am hoping someone on the forum might be able to help me through the process of repairing it. I just have the organ, no pedalboard or rhythm box, but if I can get it going I can pick them up from ebay.
I will post my first thread on the technical forum today.
Once again, thanks for listening.
