Hi, I'm new to this site and glad to have found it. I've had my VIP 345 for about 15 years with few issues, but recently the Bb note plays white noise. It plays low white noise down on the low keys and high white noise up on the high keys. Not sure if it's a tuning or an oscillator problem. Any suggestions/guesses? thanks, J.

My 345 had the white noise as well. I don't quite remember what caused it, but I do remember there being quite a few cold solder joints on that huge board that all the key contacts and divider IC's are on. I thought the divider IC's had gone bad but turns out they were fine.
You're Bb master oscillator is probably fine, try the top Bb with just the 2' drawbar out to check. I could be wrong about this, but I think the divider IC's just output white noise if they are not receiving a proper square wave to divide. Either a cold joint or broken trace on the board is probably causing it.
