Well... I thought I'd post a couple of examples of the sound of my new Vox Jaguar. The first is a demo of a song my band The Plateau Phase is working on. I put the demo together so our singer [who has a lovely mezzo soprano] can work out a melody for the vocal. All the instruments are me, though the bass line is something the bass player came up with [sequenced on one of my synths]. Anyway, it's a bit rough. The song is supposed to be a spacey-loungey torch song. Julia can do the Shirley Bassey thing, so I think it'll work... HopelessThe other is a side project tentatively called Dopamine Cascade. It's a semi-ambient, semi Pink-Floydy improv thing that I just noddled on the other night. Cosmos 954Opinions and suggestions welcomed.

That second one was a combo organ? Through what?
Nice and spacey!

That second one was a combo organ? Through what? Nice and spacey! Thanks. The organ actually kicks in in Cosmos 954 at 2:37 and again at 8:15. It's going through a Digitech DP200 multi-effects pedal with a short delay and reverb. The rest of it is mostly my AX60 [the opening and closing bit, the saturated pad] and JX-8P [the brass, bass and warm pad].

I really like the AX60. It's not quite as polite as the Juno 106; with the saw/triangle, a little noise and a slow filter LFO with the depth control in the mod wheel, it makes a really nasty lead that I probably overuse... You can hear it here in a demo for my band of an as-yet untitled bossa nova [the organ is my Fantom X6 -- it will be the Jaguar in the final version -- and it's a very rough demo]: www.blam.ca/music/The%20Plateau%20Phase%20-%20Bossa%20Nova%20(rough%201).mp3Yeah... more space-lounge music.
