I sure hope someone on here grabbed that deal yesterday on NY Craigslist. Someone on Long Island was selling two combos - an Ace Tone Top 5 and a Telestar, both with legs and working - at a price of $100 for both.
Unfortunately for me, I'd written from my work email and didn't realize it, so they were gone by the time I got the guy's email saying to call him.

Ah well...It's my own fault. I've certainly scored some amazing deals on combos in the past 5-10 years.
Really, though, it just points out that these deals *are* still out there to be found. You've just gotta keep your eyes peeled.

Ass Tune...
I found some decent stuff (records & instruments) because they were mispelled
I remember a "farisa" organ on ebay sold for nothing and a great "alba" drum kit (asba are among the best french drumkits of the 60s) sold for 100€!!!

I can't believe I missed that! What was it listed as? Mike - Pretty sure it just said "Combo Organs" or something like that. Inside it mentioned the Ace Tone Top 5 and the Telestar 49.

Yeah, guess I missed that too.
On the other hand, I find searching all the various craigslist listings, with all the different key word permutations, with all the different spelling permutations to be very exhausting. Even if a person has the various craigslist searching aids, sorting through all of that takes up a lot of time that I could spend elsewhere. But I respect the vigilance of those that do search so hard.
Granted, I did it for a while to get the combos & keyboards I have now, but personally, I've got a couple of great sounding organs, and I'm pretty content with them.
I do search once in a while, though...just in case...
