This question is probably stupid, and the idea absurd. I've posted a similar question in the tech section, but has anyone ever attempted to build a combo organ from scratch utilizing generic parts. I know people build all sorts of electronic devices and people often build tiny steam trains from copper steal and brass parts. Has anyone attempted a simple combo organ design? It seems like one might be able to reconstruct some of the original designs with parts from radio shack and places like that... or is this absolutely impossible?

I am thinking about building one myself, but in the real sturdy style, building wooden keys and all, but appartment life has only got me to collect schematics and search for various parts so far.... Hope I can give you some news pretty soon, I've got tons of cool ideas

And NO! It's not an absurd idea, people build their own guitars or tube amps, so why not combo organs? C'mon they're just to good and too scarce to pass up! Cheers to y'all!
