Hi everybody, I´m new to this forum.
I own a MK1 Farfisa Compact Duo, which is basically just a Compact Deluxe with an extra manual.
The organ is in pretty good condition, but there is a small problem:
On the upper manual I´m missing all the 16´ notes on the lowest octave range, when the main voices are selected (strings, flutes etc.). However these notes are present when played on the same keys with the "Multi-Tone Booster" selected. Do you guys have any idea about what could be the reason for this, and how to fix it? Probably some octave divider-trouble I would guess, but I don´t really have a clue about which card is taking care of that, and if there´s one card for the main voices and another one for the Multi-Tone Booster-voices. Also I would be happy to know if the percussion function is supposed to affect anything other than the bass-voices on this model.
Thanks

well, I could be wrong, but it seems your problem is quite simple... you should check the small loose wire looking like guitar strings under the 16' switch... they may be greasy (they were pretty dirty on mine, so it didn't activate some voices...) just clean them a bit and it should work, or follow the connections concerned by that switch on the same big long board above the keys...
good luck F.
