Hey people,
I have a problem with an organ I bought for 20 euros from someone who had it in a garage. It is an Elka International 2000, a little bit like the Elka Panther, but double and with drawbars, percussion effect, bass pedals, volume pedal and such. I'm gonna upload some photos one of these days.
Now to the point. It does make sound, but it's TOTALLY out of tune. That bad, that the notes aren't even chromatically anymore. I tuned it, and it sounded OK, but after a while, the tone began to become worser again, and now, it sounds exactly like how it sounded when I got it.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Do I need to give some photos of the inside?
Thanks in advance!!

pics would help I remember having an elka panther 100 and no problem tuning it I had to sell it though because the "D" card was dead and I couldn't find no coil
you tune the coil with a screwdriver, right? when it's detuning, does the thing -where you put the screwdriver- turn? did you change anything in the organ? is there some modifications? (iron or something added on the organ?) do you play with another organ on it?

While on the subject of tuning organs, where can one purchase the adaptor device that will alow one to plug an analog combo organ into a PC to use the computer as a tuning instrument? So far I've checked a couple of electronic supply stores, but so far, "no can find". Also, what;s the name of the program that I can use for tuning an organ? I know that it must be a 12 octive in order to do a proper job. Thanks for any help that any of you pro's can offer.

I guess it has something tot do with the sound cards. I didn't modificate everything, except for that I whiped the huge layers of dust from it. I'll upload photo's from the in- and outside soon! Thanks for your comment.

I hope you can see enough on these photo's, although I'm afraid not. It's pretty much work screwing the organ open again, haha. More photo's here: www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=P6MTBYVB
