Hi everybody! My first post here and I need help ... desperately! I have a GM752 organ in good condition but the reverb doesn't work. I tried a new reverb tank (from a tube philicorda with working reverb) and I changed a bad looking capacitor, but still nothing. Now the strange thing - If I play the organ with reverb on max I only hear very very little reverb, but if I whistle or say something near the reverb tank (the organ is still taken apart) I hear that through the speakers with lots of reverb on it. So I guess it has to do with the reverb input circuit?? Can you please tell me where to look? Thanks so much!

So I take it if you tap or shake the tank it makes a sound? In that case the circuit driving the reverb input is probably at fault. Hard to give any suggestions without schematics.

Hello! My reverb unit was not working neither. all i did was remove it and place it again and it work! who knows why?? that's all i can say about it! sorry
BTW, all the F# in my phili are not working. They sound really low (almost can't hear them). The dividers work because they have different frequencies depending on the octave you play it in, and the vibrato and the Voxs apply. Does anyone knows a solution to this? I looks pretty simple but i dont know much about reading the schematic...does anyone can help? Thanks a lot Regards!

Reverb didn't work, opened it, had a look inside, removed all the dust from the last century, put it back together again, thought I'll tackle the reverb problem later. Switched it on and the reverb works . Seems that there's a matched pair of germanium transistors (AC187 & AC188) on the drive side of the reverb, these can act really silly sometimes, depending on the temperature for ex. Or the phase of the moon... If all F#s are week then you should take a look at the transistor TS14, might be faulty. And check the capacitors C65, 66 and 67. I think this transistor amplifies the signal to the dividers.

Just to let you guys know ... mine's fixed now. I took to an oldschool tech who replaced the reverb transistors and some other things and it works now! It was well worth it, the reverb is very good!
