Philips Philicorda GM 760 that was offered for free when I responded to a Craigslist add! It is rough shape and is in storage in California, while I live in Utah. So I have to get it out here. The organ came with a road case that I will not be needing (anyone?) It will clearly need some bass pedals, so if anyone has a clue where to get some I would appreciate the help. Here is a link to a site with detailed pictures of one that is in really nice condition... www.pbase.com/markus/philicorda_760

Well I have the thing mostly working. The bass pedals are just destroyed. I fear there is no salvaging them and I am trying to find a total replacement. Every note on both manuals works and the reverb and vibrato works. Percussion and repeat do not. I am less concerned about those features. The thing has a very unique sound and I am running through the Digitech guitar pedal for now. The Elka Panther is now living behind the V-drums.

Rod, I love your studio! Post some sounds of the Philicorda. I'd like to know in case another free one comes up on CL.

There are quite a few Philicorda videos on YouTube. Most feature the single manual GM751. The videos sound exactly like the double manual version that I have. I think these are very rare in the States. They were made in Europe and there seem to be quite a few in Canada. If one comes up, grab it. You won't be sorry.
This thing was toured by a Dutch band and not gently handled. When I got it home and plugged it in, every single note on both keyboards worked! And it was in perfect tune! They don't make 'em like this anymore.
