Hello!
I'm Jonas, 28 yrs from Örebro, Sweden. I was lured here by Rod, who caught one of my posts at the yahoo group.
I own: a Farfisa Foyer (cromwell). Basically a minicompact in a spinet housing. It also has a built in tube amp, a reverb tank and speakers. I've modified it slightly with a discrete line out jack, so that signal processing would be possible.
Otherwise, I own a Yamaha cp20 (CJEP), a Paia OZ, a Hagström Partner guitar, a washed-up has-been of a no name bass-guitar, and i'm currently putting together a Paia Theremax for my wife.
I like lots of diffrent genres and I like using the different signature sounds of each instrument togehter as a whole in lots of different styles of playing.
Main influences include: The doors, Hendrix, The cream, The who, Kraftwerk, UNKLE, NIN, tino corp, jean jaques perrey, wendy carlos and Muse. (of course others to, but the list would just be too long!) ;D
I've only just started fooling around with recording some stuff on my computer, but have yet to buy a proper microphone!
Regards, Jonas

Welcome Jonas, I hope to see you hanging around here from time to time. Don't worry about a proper microphone, they are overrated. Some of the greatest music of all time has been made on some really crap equipment by todays standards. Clearly there is some really crap music being made today on some fantastic, proper equipment. I bet I have more sound generating firepower in my little bedroom studio than the Beatles had when they made "Sergeant Pepper". The fact that I have yet to produce a groundbreaking album is clearly not the fault of my gear. The important ingredient is your spirit, or soul. Whatever you want to call it. The gear doesn't make the man. The important thing is to put yourself into you your music.

Thanks Rod, haha! But its so much easier to put the blame on crap-equipment than on yourself! Besides, You can never have enough gear ;D No, I agree totaly, but now i plug my stuff right into the computers built in soundcard... which, well let's just say it doesn't bring out the best of my instruments! Like i just said, I've only just begun experimenting and will probably never find enough time to actually do something proper, but be sure that I'll try!
