Does the line out audio signal come out of the 1/4 inch female jack on the bottom of the chassis or does it come out of the 1/4 inch male connector that's attached to a cable coming from inside the chassis? I'm assuming one of these is a line out and the other is set up for external footswitch control of some type. Any help greatly appreciated.

Normally your output on these things are a 1/4in female jack. Standard as hell. The volume pedal out should be on the underside of the organ on the keybed side. I think you must have the volume pedal for the organ to output a sound.
I can't imagine why a 1/4 male plug would be hanging from the inside. Many of these old organs have had "home improvement" modifications done to them. Can you post some photos?
I don't own one so perhaps a more experienced user will be along to help.
Do you have any experience working on electronics?

Finally, a question where I can really help!
The Farfisa Mini Compact uses the HARDWIRED 1/4" MALE CABLE that dangles from its insides as the audio output. The female 1/4" jack underneath is supposed to be a bass out (though that doesn't work on mine). Keep in mind that the master volume control is on rear, next to the fuse.
The jack for the volume pedal is a three-pin affair, on the underside, near the knee-lever. You do NOT need a volume for the organ to work.
Although Farfisa organs are often filled with cool, clever bits of design and contruction, the output cable was not one of them. The typical Farfisa output cable is typically very thin and doesn't seem very robust. I know they were used on the entire Compact line, I'm not sure about the FAST or VIP lines. I had the cable from my Compact Duo replaced with a standard female jack.
Since you're asking, Mr. Zappacat, I assume you've just gotten a Mini, and you're in the process of firing it up, troubleshooting, and so on, for the first time. A couple quick words of advice... with the TABS (strings, principia, diapason, 16',8' or whatever is on there) the tabs have to be pressed TOWARD YOU as you're sitting at the organ, in order for them to be on. At least one must be on for you to hear a sound. Seems silly, its one of those things that will save you from a "Oh, duh!" moment.
Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

That's exactly the information I was looking for. Now that I know where the audio out SHOULD be coming from I have no sound. At least the LED is working! More on that in a separate post.

On my first Farfisa - a Combo Compact Deluxe - I was able to use a spare cable to go from the headphone out to the amp. Not always a great solution, but it gave me something at the time.

I have a Farfisa Duo Compaq that I haven’t used in a few years. Just turned it on and everything works except When the bass pedals are plugged in, it disables the black bass keys When I unplug the pedal board, the black bass keys work great Seems the two will work independently but bass pedals and black bass keys won’t work together All other keys work Does this sound normal? If not how would I correct it? Thx Don
