hey all. new to forum. looks great.
I have a fast 2 w. a few issues - the major one being that the Bb keys do not make any sound (other than a bit of a pop when contact is made). I've opened it up & poked around. did not find anything obvious (no cold solders/burned out caps etc.).
these do not have separate "cards" like the compacts, but there seems to be a dedicated circuit for ea. note near the tuning pot. I'm guessing I have to replace a transistor or capacitor, but this is where my knowledge ends. where do I begin? replace them all? is there a usual culprit? finding info on fast 2 has been a bit more challenging, appreciate any advice.
thx, al
ps - 1 other minor issue - bottom 4 notes of the treble section are an octave higher than they should be (not sure where to locate divider circuit).

Hi Alschnier,
On a combo organ of this vintage: If all of the Bb keys are not sounding, That points to a master oscillator problem. There should be 12 individual oscillator circuits (one for each note in the octave). Each of these are fed into a divide down circuit to get each octave's set of notes. Look for a label or numbering system to tell you which circuit corresponds to which note.
Try re-flowing the solder around the master osc that is not working. A capacitor may be bad - but it is more likely that one of the transistors is bad.
Good Luck Karl
